Kirby was created by Masahiro Sakurai, a Japanese man born on 1970. Kirby's first appearance was on "Kirby's Dream Land," which was released for the Game Boy in 1992. The pink puff ball has the unique ability to gain various powers by inhaling enimies and coping thier abilites.
